The Warriors: Taking Sucking to new Heights

Warriors: Even the team's logo, theme, mascot and uniforms are terrible.I can't stand the Warriors. They are the epitome of terrible sports franchises. And in an era that is certainly the worst for Bay Area sports, they are the worst. They are so eternally bad from play on the court to management decisions that I think they should be dragged out into the street and relieved of their miserable lives. If I were an NBA player on draft day I would have my eyes shut, fingers crossed and would be repeating this mantra: "Anyone but the Warriors, anyone but the Warriors."

In their most recent successful season they rode the back of international thug Stephen Jackson, made the first round of the playoffs then traded away everyone who could play. Then their only remaining star, Monta "Scooter" Ellis broke his ankle doing side shows on a Vespa.

Nelson, Nellie, nice guy, persistently mediocre coach. No matter who is on this roster the Warriors can't win. This team is a shame to sports everywhere.

The only bright spot for the Warriors is their persistently appreciative fans who seem ever ready to suck up more terrible basketball. Currently the Warriors are the second worst team in the NBA. They are 21 games behind the LA Lakers, they are 13-31 with no hope on the horizon. The biggest news to come out of Warrior-town lately had nothing to do with the play, billionaire software mogul Larry Ellison expressed interest in buying the team, but current owner, and most despised man in the NBA, Chris Cohan hasn't said anything about selling. And with the longest streak in NBA history without a playoff appearance, he obviously could care less about the team. I'm sure all the idiot loyal fans make it a profitable endeavor for him. No talent on the team, sold out every night. I personally know three season ticket holders... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY???

Why would you support such a franchise that values poor play, routinely dumps anyone with talent and sticks with a coach who has made a career out of being nice, but losing a lot. I despise this team so much that I would like to see them go away, permanently. Or... see Ellison take over and dump millions in to win a title. Yeah right!
